LPS CORAL COLLECTION
Stock Live Coral Frags are Cut to Order and Need 1-2 Week Healing Time
Our LPS Corals Stock Selection. LPS stands for "Long Polyp Stony Coral." The term LPS is used to generalize corals with a thicker tissue and skeletal structure. LPS corals rely on a calcium skeletal structure underneath their tissue to grow and develop. The term LPS is rather broad, and is now used mostly to help understand the care conditions for a group of corals. Generally LPS corals prefer lower flow and lighting, and appreciate weekly feedings.
LPS Corals are a great choice for beginning reefers looking to branch away from Soft Corals. Our selection of LPS Corals focuses on Rare and Collector Blastomussa, Chalice, Goniopora, Favias, Acans, and More! Click on the corals to learn more about their care, a brief description, and origins!
All Stock Photos of Corals are photographed under Kessil LED Lights.
