About the Zoanthid

One of the original rainbow zonathids in the hobby! JF Insane Rainbows Zoanthids came out around the same time as Sunny Ds, which is a very similar looking morph. It's very easy to get the two mixed up, and the tell-tale sign is in the skirt. JF Insane Rainbows have a more refined skirt with a bit of white on it, while Sunny Ds have a lot of metallic speckling in the skirt. Sunny D zoanthids also don't usually get red coloration on the body like JF Insane Rainbows do. The body of a JF Insane Rainbow also tends to look more "plump" while Sunny Ds are more "flat." They are both great growers and relatively easy to care for, although we've noticed that JF Insane Rainbows are a bit slower growing then Sunny Ds but are more resilient to parameter swings.
