The Blastomussa (often abbreviated as Blasto or Blasto wellsi) is a highly sought-after Large Polyp Stony (LPS) coral known for its fleshy, captivating polyps.

This particular specimen features a beautiful blue and red striping pattern that radiates from the center, transitioning into a contrasting blue and purple outer ring with subtle hints of green.

This impressive single large polyp is securely mounted on a 1 1/4​" frag plug.

Lighting: Best maintained under lower light conditions.
Currently kept under Kessil A360X units. Mounting height 24" above water line. 12:00PM - 10:00PM at 100% blue intensity.

Water Flow: Prefers moderate, gentle flow to keep the polyp clean and free of detritus.

Feeding: While they can survive on light alone, targeted feeding of small coral pellets or powder will promote faster growth and health.

Placement: Provide adequate space from other corals.
