The photo is of the Flame Tipped Diasersis Plate Coral (WYSIWYG) - LPS Coral that you are purchasing. Roughly 3" across in size.
This extraordinary Flame Tipped Diasersis Plate Coral features a violet-purple body that dramatically contrasts with fiery, flame-orange tipped polyps. It's a beautiful addition to any LPS Coral lover.
Uniquely, Diaseris Plate Corals can naturally self-frag or be intentionally fragged, making them a more robust and sustainable aquacultured coral choice for your reef tank. Place this solitary, free-living specimen on your substrate for best results, but some people have successfully glued them onto their rockwork as well!
Lighting: Best maintained under low to moderate light conditions with a strong blue spectrum.Currently kept under Kessil A360X units. Mounting height 24" above water line. 12:00PM - 10:00PM at 100% blue intensity.
Water Flow: Prefers moderate, gentle flow to keep the body clean and free of detritus.
Feeding: While they can survive on light alone, targeted feeding of small coral pellets or powder will promote faster growth and health.
Placement: Provide adequate space from other corals. Place them on the sandbed or a lower rock shelf.
