TCK Flamethrower Goniopora is a rather unique short tentacled piece. You see those little white tentacles? We're not quite sure what they're for, but none of our other short tentacled Gonioporas tend to have them. Aside from cool white tentacles, TCK Flamethrower Goniopora has a rich orange coloration with sunny little yellow polyp inside. The color combination make it look there's a little bonfire happening across the entire body of the coral. The base is forest green color, giving it an extra boost of contrast.
Short tentacled Gonioporas tend to be much easier to care for than their long polyped cousins. It's believed that they are more photosynthetic than their long polyped variants, making them rely more on lighting like other corals rather than just strictly feeding.
Some reefers struggle with Goniopora species, but we have had amazing success using coral foods such as Benepets. Give it a weekly feeding and you should be all set!
