One of the coooolest (get it, because it's Jack Frost?) Gonioporas that we have the pleasure of aquaculturing in the farm. A rare cool frosty blue with icy metallic colored tips. Pairs amazingly with other metallic colored Gonioporas such as our LC Metallic Red Goniopora or a UC Amazeballs Goniopora. This is a long tentacle Goniopora and as such will do best with weekly feedings. We use Brightwell's Amino Acids along with Benepet's broadcast coral food.
LC Jack Frost Goniopora
Strong intermediate level coral. Best tried after you've had success with a few other easier corals first. Special requirements include weekly feeding of food such as Benepets.
Slow. Increased growth with feeding such as Benepets.
Keep gonioporas near the sanbed if you want them to extend the longest.
Currently kept under Kessil A360X units. Mounting height 24" above water line. 12:00PM - 10:00PM at 100% blue intensity.
Prefers a moderate breeze, enough to make the tentacles sway. Avoid strong direct flow, as this may damage the tissue.
Currently kept with Maxspect Gyre 350s Pumps.
Brightwell's Amino Acids, Lugols, Replenish, Restor, Potassion, KoralColor.
