If you're looking for something bright, low maintenance, and a great grower then this is the right zoanthid for you! Everything about this zoanthid is colorful. From the spring green lashes, bright blue color, and white splashes, it's got a lot going on! This is a favorite piece among many looking to get into keeping zoanthids and we highly recommend them for anyone just started a reef tank as well.
Some similar looking morphs to LC Blueberry Explosions include Blowpops, JF Daisy Cutters, and Blueberry Fields. LC Blueberry Explosions has a little bit of traits from all of them, but at the same time is different. Just to not confuse anyone thinking that this piece is the same, or that we're not aware of the other morphs!
LC Blueberry Explosions Zoanthids
Great beginner coral! Does not consume elements such as alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium readily. A great choice if you're looking to keep a low maintenance reef or are just getting into the hobby and haven't built a strong understanding of the hobby yet.
A great grower! Increased growth with feeding such as Benepets.
Prefers to be kept in lower to medium light.
Currently kept under Kessil A360X units. Mounting height 24" above water line. 12:00PM - 10:00PM at 100% blue intensity.
We recommend starting smaller zoanthid frags in lower flow until it reaches a small colony size. Once established, increase the flow level to avoid any detritus building up in between the mat. If detritus builds up inside the matting of the zoanthid, it can cause bacterial issues.
Currently kept with Maxspect Gyre 350s Pumps.
Brightwell's Amino Acids, Lugols, Replenish, Restor, Potassion, KoralColor.
