A Focus on High End Aquacultured Corals
Legendary Corals began in 2013 with a focus on aquaculturing high end and rare corals. Over 70% of our corals are propagated to 2nd or 3rd generations before being offered, making their odds of surviving in a home aquarium much higher as opposed to purchasing wild corals.
Offering aquacultured corals keeps the hobby sustainable, allowing the industry to maintain a large variety of corals without heavily relying on the ocean.
A description and care guide for each coral is available on our site, allowing you to understand the requirements needed to keep them thriving. We want you to be in this hobby for the long run, and purchasing healthy corals from the start is one of the most important steps.
Learn to ID and Care for Zoanthids
We've been collecting Zoanthids since the beginning of our reefing lifetime (over 15+ years). Through all of those years, Zoanthids remain our favorite and hold a special place in our hearts. You can say we're a little bit obsessed with them.
That obsession has forced us to own and know nearly every Zoanthid morph under the sun.
For those looking for in-depth history, origins, common trade names, and caretaking tips for these beautiful corals, check out our ongoing Zoa ID Encylopedia. You can ensure that the trade names on here are correct.
New YouTube Update
This month we had the pleasure of being featured in Reefbuilder's ReefStock from Home Video Segment on Aquaculturing.
Follow along this video to learn a few personal tips and tricks on what are arguably our favorite corals here at the farm, Zoanthids. With over 10 years of keeping these colorful polyps, hopefully there's something new for you to learn after watching.
